It is so hard to see that something good is being made from the pain of your trials as you are suffering in them. Faith allows you to persevere through the pain knowing that there is indeed an important spiritual transforming reason for it. And rejoice for it because this is the only way to spiritual maturity. The pain that you are having, may not be for you, but for the benefit of someone else who is close to you.

This is one of the best reminders. It reminds me that life's lessons are sometimes harsh but is exactly what is needed to advance our spiritual development.
